Budget friendly place to crash overnight while traveling. Room was clean. Owner pleasent, no frills easy check in easy check out, would definitely stay here again nice and quiet. Showered, slept, showered got back on road again. Looks like owner is updating inadaquitates, no cloths hooks. No hangers, no dishes or pots and pans but full kitchen, paint on towels, dead bugs in lights, flat screen tv's with no cable or service, light bulbs out. Might as well replace high wattage light bulbs w/energy efficient ones. The place needs a good weeding. Figured single pleasent owner has her hands full upgrading now, signs of contractor's working on site. Would still stay here again because it's clean, safe, affordable, quiet and independently owned.
The owner is really cool. We loved our room. Perfect little kitchenette. Exactly what we were hoping for. Very clean and all the little animals running around were so cute to watch. It rained the entire time but was still beautiful.
We got to the hotel late at night and as we checked in and I looked around, I thought the place looked kind of dumpy and wondered what the room would look like. There wasn't very much room for cars to drive and it was kind of difficult to drive to our room. However, once we got inside I was shocked at how nice the room was. There were 2 large beds, a table, a bathroom with a shower and bath, and a small kitchen with a full size fridge and freezer. There was also a lot of space in the room to walk around. Then I was again surprised as I sat down on the bed and realized how comfortable it was. I highly recommend this hotel and it is a lot cheaper than the hotels in Cedar City and is only 20 minutes away.
The woman that helped us was incredibly kind and nice. We got in late that night (10 or 11 pm local time) and she was still awake to greet us and help us check in. When we called, she noticed the area code and updated us on the weather we could expect on our journey. Cash or card accepted The room was surprising for the price! Queen size bed, gas stove, full size refrigerator, complete working kitchen, nice furniture, etc. For the price we typically pay, we're used to grungy run-down rooms that don't feel safe or clean. This is NOT the case here. The effort put forth is evident. The motel is located just inside a small town right off of I-15. There isn't a large sign way up high in the air, and it isn't right off of the highway or main road, so you won't find this place just driving by. Any GPS service will bring you right to the door. It is located near residential, so don't worry that you might be lost if you see houses. Final little fun note: they have an adorable sweet cat. Very vocal (but not loud), very sweet, and will walk right up to you for petting. This cat is the perfect mascot for the motel. Friendly, sweet, and caring.
This place is amazing! The rooms are nice, clean, and fully functional. All for an affordable price! I loved the fact that I had a flat screen TV, nice bed, and fully functional kitchen all for $50!! The management is also so amazing! More than words can express. I loved my stay at the Crimson Motel!
